Encased in Herculite 2 (a form of hard plaster), are items retrieved from the beach, including plastics and monofilaments. Hidden in the sculptural process, their forms are only revealed though cutting cross sections and creating objects which mimic geological core samples of rock. The white of the plaster echoes the chalk of the coast of the south and southeast, where fossils millions of years old hide and are only uncovered through environmental decay or geological exploration.
